OUR PROCESS

HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO, SIMPLIFIED

  • LGND believes that an original idea comes from working with your hands. We will start our design process with a blank sheet of paper, a pencil, and a big eraser. We will provide anywhere from three to five rough thumbnail concepts for you to choose from. This is the roughest stage of our process, but is the foundation of your new brand.

We’ll get your feedback on our concepts, and either literally return to the drawing board, or we’ll ask you to choose two of our ideas to move onto the Phase 2.

  • LGND will convert these pencil and ink sketches into clean vector art. This is where things start to shape up. We don’t introduce color at this phase, the rough ideas will only be in black and white. As a master logo designer once said, “If it doesn’t work in black and white, color won’t save it.”

At the end of this phase, we’ll ask you to choose just ONE of the designs to finish the creation process in Phase 3. If we’ve done our jobs right, you might just have a hard time deciding.

  • LGND will produce your final logo choice into a full color masterpiece. We will aslo create a full suite of digital brand assets. Your company will be able to use these assets for social media, your website, business cards, company merch, etc.

We can even create for you a full brand guide that will set color and font standards, logo usage do’s and don’ts, photography standards and more.
